Southeast Sulawesi economy in 2017 grew 6.81 percent higher than the achievements in 2016

Abstract

  • Southeast Sulawesi's economy based on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices in 2017 reached Rp 107.47 trillion and at constant 2010 prices reached Rp 83.04 trillion.
  •     The economy of Southeast Sulawesi in 2017 grew 6.81 percent higher than the achievement in 2016 at 6.51 percent. In terms of production, growth is driven by all business fields, with the highest growth achieved by Mining Business Field and Excavation which grew 13.00 percent. From the expenditure side, the highest growth was achieved by the Export Components of Goods and Services which grew by 26.93 percent.
  • The economy of Southeast Sulawesi in the fourth quarter of 2017 compared to the fourth quarter of 2016 grew by 6.12 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, the highest growth in Mining and Quarrying Fields was 9.02 percent. While from the expenditure side achieved by the Export Components of Goods and Services which grew by 18.25 percent.
  • The economy of Southeast Sulawesi in quarter IV-2017 (q-to-q) when compared to the previous quarter grew 2.89 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth in Construction Business Field was 9.49 percent. While in terms of expenditure is mainly driven by the Export Components of Goods and Services which grew by 13.39 percent.
