Abstract

  • The percentage of poor people in March 2021 was 11.66 percent, down 0.03 percentage point against September 2020 and up 0.66 percentage point against March 2020.
  • The number of poor people in March 2021 was 318.70 thousand people, an increase of 1.38 thousand people from September 2020 and an increase of 16.88 thousand people from March 20
  • 20. The percentage of poor people in urban areas in March 2021 was 7.66 percent, up 0.04 points compared to September 2020. Meanwhile, the percentage of poor people in rural areas in March 2021 was 13.89 percent, down 0.04 points from September 20
  • 20. Compared to September 2020, the number of poor people in March 2021 in urban areas increased by 1.83 thousand people (from 73.22 thousand people in September 2020 to 75.05 thousand people in March 2021). Meanwhile, rural areas decreased by 0.45 thousand people (from 244.10 thousand people in September 2020 to 243.65 thousand people in March 2020
  • The Poverty Line in March 2021 was recorded at 378,589,-/capita/month with the composition of the Food Poverty Line of 283,400,- (74.86%) and the Non-Food Poverty Line of Rp. 95.189,- (25.14%)
  • In March 2021, on average, a poor household in Southeast Sulawesi had 5.18 household members. Thus, the size of the Poverty Line per poor household on average is Rp.1,961,091,-/poor household/month.
